The Great Plains ADA Center provides training, information, and technical assistance on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Serving Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska, we work with individuals, businesses, and communities to support accessibility and ADA implementation. As part of the ADA National Network, we are a trusted source of guidance on the ADA—helping people and organizations understand their rights, meet their responsibilities, and create communities where everyone can participate.

We provide answers to specific questions about the ADA, targeted to the user’s needs and background. Our services are professional and confidential.

From basic to advanced, our training is comprehensive, covering all areas of the ADA.  Training is customized to the information needs of the target audience.

We help organizations build their capacity to conduct self-evaluation and transition plans, train staff, and build ADA implementation into their organizational structure.

We develop fact sheets, newsletters, digital manuals, videos, and other products targeted to consumer needs.

We pair knowledge of ADA standards and regulations with real-world experience to deliver services that work—for people, communities, and organizations.  What sets us apart is the way we blend expertise with experience. We don’t just teach regulations—we help people apply the ADA in ways that truly make a difference in everyday life. Whether it’s answering a question, providing in-depth training, or guiding a community or business through big accessibility changes, our goal is always the same: to make ADA implementation real and lasting.

We provide services for people with disabilities and their families, businesses, state and local governments, architects, designers, building officials, health care providers, educators, advocates, and more.
