KU Architectural Education Project

Students Learn to Increase Access and Enhance User Experience. University of Kansas has an internationally recognized design-build approach to architectural education, which includes a required junior year studio where students complete an experiential learning project. Ray Petty of the Great Plains ADA Center consulted with the project on making sure the project was accessible and followed ADA guidelines, making sure the finished Courtyard project was available to people with disabilities.
